Pair up was a small, Southern California-based womenswear brand driven by a deep commitment to transparency and minimizing its environmental footprint. We championed a hyper-local approach, sourcing dead-stock fabrics from the Los Angeles garment district and partnering with ethical manufacturers within the state.

Set on the iconic Beacon's Beach in Southern California, this photoshoot introduced Pair Up and its debut piece: The hand-dyed Painter's Jacket. Capturing the mood of a typical "June gloom" morning, the images explore the interplay of movement and stillness against the misty coastal landscape. The shoot aimed to celebrate the unique character of the small-batch dyed jackets and the inherent inspiration drawn from the sea.
